How They Compare:
- Mushroom Popcorn: Big, dense, ball-shaped. Ideal for sticky coatings like caramel, chocolate, or thick cheese.
- Butterfly Popcorn: Fluffy with fragile “wings”. Better for light, dry seasonings like standard table salt, as the seasoning falls into the nooks and crannies, but it crumbles easily in heavy caramel.
